1.Summary of CAEXPO event:
The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO, https://www.caexpo.org.cn ) is a national key trade and investment cooperation promotion event and the largest exhibition scale in the China-ASEAN region jointly organized by the Economic Authority of the Government of China and 10 ASEAN countries, CAEXPO 2025 will take place on September 17-21 in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China
The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is an international trade show organized by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM) and its counterparts in 10 ASEAN countries as well as the ASEAN Secretariat. The CAEXPO has been annually held with success in Nanning, Guangxi, China for 21 years in a row.
This 2025 Expo will emphasize high-tech trade promotion under the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement version 3.0, and for the first time set up specialized exhibition halls for AI, digital transformation and China-ASEAN high technology such as displaying new products, new technologies and new applications of countries in the fields of digital economy, artificial intelligence AI, green energy and environmental technology, Biology, high-tech agriculture, smart equipment and industrial innovation... etc.
2. The expected scale of CAEXPO 2025 is:
- 100,000+ m2 of exhibition area, 5000+ booths of China, ASEAN countries and international countries;
- 2000+ enterprises and nearly 30 thousand items will be displayed at the exhibition;
- Leaders of 10 ASEAN countries and some other countries will be present to open the Fair;
- 100+ Summits, High-level Forums, International Conferences and Seminars will take place;
- 1000+ Investment Cooperation Projects, Technology Transfer, Innovation, Energy Transition...;
- 300,000+ commercial visitors and the public from over 20 countries will come to visit and trade;
- The Vietnamese delegation attending includes: Vietnam National Product and Technology Exhibition Hall with about 200 booths and more than 1,000 trade delegates participating in trade promotion activities.

Trade form:
- 1:1 trade: The Organizing Committee arranges tables and chairs at the trade connection area for Vietnamese Buyers enterprises in order, to conduct 1:1 trading meetings with Chinese supply enterprises in turn, trading time is about 2 hours.
- Participate in some additional activities/conferences to promote multilateral cooperation arranged by the Organizing Committee (if any).
- The Organizing Committee arranges mobile interpreters to support the trade connection stage.
3) Support for participation in trade tours and conditions of eligibility
A- The trade tour organizer provides a policy to support participation in the Hanoi - Huu Nghi Border Gate - Nanning, China - Hanoi tour for 4 days and 3 nights (September 17-20, 2025)
Including services according to the itinerary:
- Round-trip shuttle bus fee for Vietnam - China;
- Visa application fee issued at the border gate for the group to enter and exit (No separation from the group);
- Meals and hotel (2 people per room) in Nanning for 4 days and 3 nights according to the program;
- Registration procedures for participation in the Fair and issuance of entry cards;
- Free participation in trade promotion activities exclusively for the Vietnamese delegation;
- Interpreter serving the delegation during the time in China;
- Market survey and Travel insurance.
B - For qualified business representatives to enjoy support policies:
+ Must pay a fee for organizing trade: 220USD/1 business, 1 main representative. For businesses registering more than one person, the second or more representatives participating in the trade tour must cover the total cost of 300USD/person.
+ Must be a Vietnamese legal entity, the main representative receiving sponsorship must be over 30 years old.
+ Must be a business operating in the field of trade connection as announced above, and businesses with websites are given priority to choose to enjoy support policies.
+ Must submit documents: Copy of Business Registration Certificate, scanned passport of personnel, 3 x 4 electronic photo with white background, soft copy of business card.
+ Fill out and provide soft copy of the Trade Connection Registration Form (Must clearly state the purpose of the trade for approval by the Organizing Committee) and other forms required by the Organizing Committee (if any), with stamp & signature.
+ Declare business information on the website link or APP of the Organizing Committee according to the process (if necessary).
+ Participate in all activities and follow the correct process of participating in the business connection program arranged by the Organizing Committee.
+ Deadline for registration and submission of documents before August 26, 2025.
D-Guide to applying for a group visa issued at the border gate and entry and exit procedures according to the program
- To participate in the program, you need a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into China.
- You can apply for a Chinese visa yourself (individual visa, AB official visa, APEC visa) or entrust the application for a border gate visa in the form of a tourist group issued in China (The Chinese organizing unit applies for the group).
- The type of border gate visa stipulates that customers must exit and enter with the whole group, and are not allowed to separate from the group to participate in activities outside the program (A file with instructions for border gate visa procedures is attached).
